For folks who think an iPod’s insultingly small screen just doesn’t cut it for consuming media on the go, Samsung has a brand new offering. It hasn’t been announced officially yet, but the Samsung YP-CM3 PMP has said to have surfaced already in Russia, at least, and it’s got features any PMP these days can’t be without. Besides its 3-inch touchscreen display with 400 x 240 pixel resolution, the Samsung YP-CM3 PMP has what looks like a front-facing camera and support for a variety of multimedia formats including MPEG4, WMV, SVI, RMVB, WMA, Ogg, WAV, FLAC, RM, even TXT, and it also has a built-in FM radio.

It appears to be rather stout, but that should mean that it’s ergonomic and easier to hold in the hand. No pricing info or release date has been revealed, but these should be easy to spot once Samsung makes an official announcement. See another photo after the break.
